A floating floor is a specific installation method where planks interlock and sit on the underlayment without the need for adhesive or nails. We generally advise against opting for floating floors, and here's why: 1. It may not provide the desired walking experience. 2. Sanding or re-sanding is not possible as the machine tends to bounce on the surface. 3. The click system used for floating floors is not the most optimal method for installing timber flooring.

Certainly, timber flooring can be installed directly on top of concrete surfaces, and in fact, a significant portion of our projects involve concrete subfloors.
